Use Manure Tea In A Misting Bottle
Manure tea is a perfect foliar fertilizer that can add luster to plant leaves. Many plants take moisture in through leaves, so manure tea is a great way to give houseplants a nutrient boost.
But manure tea mists are not left just in the home. Giving your vegetables and flowers an occasional misting of manure tea can be very beneficial.
In the picture below, I’m giving my pole beans a refreshing mist of manure tea.
Use Manure Tea In A Watering Can
Another simple use for manure tea is to use a watering can. Just fill the watering can with concentrated or half and half diluted manure tea and water each plant thoroughly.
Use Manure Tea In A Hose-End Sprayer
Applying manure tea to a large area is best accomplished using a hose-end sprayer. This will allow you to cover a lot of garden area very quickly.
Simply pour undiluted manure tea into the bottle attachment of the sprayer. Attach a water hose to the sprayer and apply to the garden. Most hose-end sprayers will mix the manure tea and water at the appropriate levels.

Pour Manure Tea Onto Compost Piles
Manure tea can be poured in compost piles to help accelerate the composting process. Compost needs microbes in order for the decomposition of materials. Manure tea will give your compost a quick shot of these beneficial microbes. It will also add a nitrogen component to the compost which will really get the pile sparked.
Storing Unused Manure Tea
If you have any unused manure tea, you can always store it in a container with a lid. Avoid storing the tea longer than just a couple days, but not much more than that.
Pour the unused manure tea into a container with a lid and place it in a storage shed or whatever you prefer.
As you can see the possibilities for using manure tea with your plants is truly limitless. Manure tea is the most versatile, green garden product you’ll ever find.
